The City of Busselton has for some years had a strategic objective to refurbish and renew their Civic and Administration Centre. The new building designed by JCY in association with MCG Architects from Bunbury is now complete and operational.
The City’s staff have relocated to enjoy a new and much improved ‘iconic’ premises positioned on the Vasse River at the entry to the City Centre, showcasing the new phase in the future growth of Busselton.
The building design comprises innovation, timeless vision and an opportunity for a new identity for the City of Busselton, integrating within its existing surroundings and reflective of the identity of the coastal environment of the Geographe region, incorporating imagery of Geographe Bay from both the past and present. The facility is a true representation of this unique and beautiful coastal pocket of Western Australia.
The official opening was held on Thursday the 31st of August.
